What is PCP?

PCP is a synthetic drug which is in the form of white crystalline powder. Often sought for these hallucinogenic effects, different from other psychedelics by its high degree of toxicity that can lead to severe side reactions.

 
 
Consumption form: 

PCP can be consumed orally in the form of powder, tablet, capsule or liquid. It can also be appreciated, smoked or injected.

 

 

What are the effects?

Category: Hallucinogenic
Caractéristics: PCP has a general anesthetic, reducing the perception of pain and the environment. It shows both the properties of depressants and stimulants of the central nervous system.

General order effects:
  Euphoria.
  Impression of lightness and floating.
  Distorted perception of time, space and body.
  Environmental separation of feelings and visual and auditory hallucinations.
 
Side effects:
  Anxiety, agitation and panic attacks.
  Difficulties with attention, concentration and reflection.
  Confusion, disorientation, impaired judgment, disorganized thinking, incoherent language.
  Impaired memory and anterograde amnesia (inability to remember facts or events occurring after taking the drug).
  Involuntary, jerky movements of the eyes.
  Dizziness, speech problems, stare, numbness of extremities, and muscle stiffness.
  Hypersensitivity to light, sound and pain.
  Psychomotor impairment, incoordination of movements.
  Inappropriate behavior, bizarre, impulsive, hostile or violent.
  Intense feeling of alienation, precipitation of a latent psychosis and toxic psychosis manifested by hallucinations, delusions and paranoid disorders (toxic psychosis that can last from several hours to several weeks).


Dependence:
Psychological dependence is observed in some regular users.
 
 
Legislation :
