What is GHB?

Although GHB is sold under the name «liquid ecstasy», it has nothing to do with ecstasy derivative of amphetamine. GHB is an anesthetic.
Its desired effects are euphoric, relaxing and aphrodisiac.

GHB is consumed almost exclusively oral.

Effects:

Low to moderate dose

  Quiétude.
  Mild euphoria and disinhibition.

  Warmth, then intoxication comparable to that of alcohol.
 
In high doses
  Same effect as a powerful sleeping pill.
 
Short-term effects:
  Drowsiness.
  Dizziness, headache, dizziness.

Dependence:
